Enjoy a magical hour of camel riding in the Sinai Desert to a traditional Bedouin camp. There you will climb the rose-coloured rocks to catch the sunset over the mountain valley below. Wander down to the tents to experience the authentic hospitality of an Egyptian Bedouin tribe and enjoy dinner there. As the night descends and the stars come out, you will have the unique experience of star gazing. Spot the Moon and maybe even Mars! Finish off your Bedouin adventure with the evening’s entertainment of a fire show and Tannoura and belly dancing.

Pickup from Sharm el Sheikh hotels

You will be picked up by your guide for the trip at about 3 pm from your hotel and driven by A/C mini bus to Wadi-Mander Valley in the Sinai Desert, about 30 minutes from Sharm el Sheikh.

Camel ride

Our afternoon will begin with a camel ride to the Bedouin camp. We understand that camel riding might not be for everyone so you can also travel to the camp by A/C minibus if you prefer by road.

Bedouin Camp

We will arrive and take our first glimpse of traditional Bedouin life. Sit down in one of the tents sip Habbak tea and relax for a short time before sunset.

Sunset over Sinai mountains

We will ascend a small hill to capture the breathtaking views as the sun sets over the Wadi-Mander Valley.

Bedouin dinner

Make your way back down the hill to the tents in time for dinner. Our company ensures the highest quality of food hygiene, using mineral water for cooking, and fresh produce cooked over an open fire. You can enjoy the buffet-style dinner and complimentary soft drinks.

Finally, we will sit down to an hour of fire eating, belly dancing and Tannoura. You can even go up on stage and try belly dancing!

Stargazing

After dinner, our Bedouin guide will escort the group over to where the telescopes are set up to begin the stargazing. An English-speaking astronomer will speak to the group and explain what you can expect to see on that night; usually, you will be able to see the moon’s craters, Saturn, star constellations and maybe even Mars.

Return to Sharm

At the end of the night, we will drive back to the city and you will be dropped off at your hotel.
